How to find us?
If you come to Ljubljana
by train or by bus to the main railway station, you will find
Hostel AVA after a 10 minutes stroll through the Miklošiиeva Street that will take you directly into the heart of the city –
to Prešeren Square.
From there you enter the picturesque Trubar Street and after only a few meters
(third building on the left)
you will find our hostel.
If you arrive by plane on the Joћe Puиnik Airport you can take the bus that goes directly to the main bus station which is 10 minutes walk from our hostel.

If you arrive by car follow the signs that lead you to the city center. The closest daily parking is located on the riverbank Petkovšek near the river Ljubljanica. You can find other parking facilities near the hostel and reach us by foot.

You will find number of shops, pubs, bars, snack bars, bakeries, and restaurants satisfying all your potential
needs in the immediate vicinity of the hostel. To
experience a genuine atmosphere of Ljubljana,
you can visit our central market place situated
less than hundred meters away.
With hostel's ideal location you can start exploring all
of the most interesting features of the city. Short walk
along the river bank will take you to the picturesque
old town embracing the foot of the Castle Hill.
Culture eager travelers can visit the many museums
and galleries on the way to Tivoli Park or go to the
opera or theater situated not far away.
Ljubljana is bursting with the cultural entertainment, festivals and numerous events that will keep you entertained throughout the summer. In the summer evenings, our town centre is full of people who enjoy a lively atmosphere where almost every town square and corner offers something interesting for everybody.
Party eager travelers can dance until the early morning hours in clubs and discos in the town center or can visit Metelkova City, a very lively place with various alternative clubs.
